Award .ART 2026 Award

Application guidance

Artists should approach the .ART Award with a clear articulation of how their work engages with the internet—whether conceptually, formally, or distributionally. The selection committee values projects that demonstrate a nuanced understanding of digital environments and their social, political, or aesthetic dimensions. Applications should include concise documentation of the work, a statement that situates it within the artist's broader practice, and evidence of how the project leverages or critiques online contexts. Given the international scope, materials should be in English or accompanied by English translations. Deadlines are typically announced on the award's website, and applicants are encouraged to review past winners to gauge the expected level of critical engagement.
