Composers should submit works that demonstrate a thoughtful engagement with contemporary classical idioms, showing awareness of tradition while pushing creative boundaries. The competition values originality and technical proficiency, so ensure scores are professionally presented and recordings (if required) are of high quality. Carefully review the annual call for specific instrumentation and duration limits, and consider how your work contributes to a global dialogue in contemporary music.
