About the foundation
ZMINA is an international showcasing initiative that emerged from the Izolyatsia platform in Ukraine, dedicated to fostering co-creation projects between Ukrainian and Creative Europe countries. Founded in response to the urgent need for cultural resilience and reconstruction, ZMINA provides a vital platform for artists and cultural operators to develop collaborative works that address themes of rebuilding, memory, and transnational solidarity. Its core mission is to support projects that demonstrate artistic excellence and social impact, with a particular emphasis on practices that engage with the complexities of post-conflict societies and cross-border dialogue.

Application guidance
Applicants should present projects that are genuinely co-creative, with clear evidence of equitable partnership between Ukrainian and Creative Europe country collaborators. Proposals must articulate how the project engages with themes of resilience, rebuilding, or cross-cultural understanding, and demonstrate a realistic plan for implementation. It is advisable to highlight the process of collaboration and its potential for long-term impact, rather than focusing solely on final outputs. Ensure all partners are confirmed and that the budget reflects a fair distribution of resources.
