About the magazine
The Write Launch is an online literary and arts journal founded in 2017 with the conviction that rigorous, unpretentious writing and visual art deserve a dedicated platform. Operating without a physical office, it publishes quarterly issues that feature poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and art, emphasizing work that is emotionally resonant and formally considered. Its founding ethos is one of accessibility and craft: the journal seeks to launch new voices alongside established ones, without regard for trend or commercial appeal.
Submitting your work
Reading periodVaries
Before submitting, read at least one full issue to understand the journal's aesthetic, which favors clarity, emotional precision, and structural care over experimental obscurity. Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but notify promptly if your work is placed elsewhere. For art submissions, ensure digital images are high-resolution and professionally documented; include a brief artist statement that contextualizes the work without over-explaining it. Response times are typically within three months, and the editors appreciate a concise, polite cover letter that lists previous publications only if relevant.
