Associazione Demetra is accepting applications for Nutrimenti_Habitat Creativo 2026, a residency program situated in an urban context in Italy. The residency is open to hybrid practices, reflecting a curatorial interest in interdisciplinary approaches that engage with the complexities of urban environments. While the exact location and duration are not specified in the available information, the program's title suggests a focus on nourishment—both literal and metaphorical—and the cultivation of creative habitats within the city. The residency offers a platform for artists to develop work in dialogue with the urban fabric, though the specific resources, stipend, and facilities provided are not detailed in the provided materials. Applicants should note that only a bio is explicitly listed as a required material, indicating that the selection process may prioritize the artist's background and practice over extensive project proposals. The deadline and application fee are currently unknown, and interested practitioners are advised to consult the organization's official channels for updates. Given the limited information, the curatorial vision appears to center on supporting hybrid practices that respond to urban space. This opportunity may suit artists whose work is research-driven, socially engaged, or materially experimental, and who can adapt to the contingencies of a residency with unspecified parameters. As with any residency, prospective applicants should weigh the potential for creative development against the practical considerations of funding, travel, and time commitment.
