UK Ultimate, the governing body for ultimate in the United Kingdom, has opened applications for the GB Masters Open 2025 trial. This trial serves as the official selection process for athletes aiming to represent Great Britain in the masters division—a category for experienced players who continue to compete at an elite level. The trial is a key step in assembling the national squad for upcoming international competitions. While specific details regarding the trial's format, location, and associated costs are not provided in the available information, the application itself is the primary gateway. Successful applicants will be invited to demonstrate their skills, athleticism, and game intelligence in a competitive environment, evaluated by the national team coaching staff. Participation in the trial is a prerequisite for consideration for the GB Masters Open team. This opportunity is distinct from open-age ultimate; it is designed for players who have honed their abilities over years of play and wish to test themselves against the nation's best in their age bracket. The selection process is rigorous, and the standard is high. Those who progress will join a proud tradition of British ultimate representation on the international stage.
