IETM Global Connect is a membership support initiative of IETM, a longstanding international network for contemporary performing arts. The programme provides selected artists and arts professionals with a supported membership for the 2027 calendar year, granting access to IETM's network, resources, and events. This opportunity is aimed at facilitating international exchange and professional development within the performing arts sector. The supported membership is designed for practitioners who demonstrate a clear need for international networking and who would benefit from IETM's platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and advocacy. While the exact benefits of membership are not detailed in the provided excerpt, IETM membership typically includes participation in meetings, access to online resources, and connection to a global community of performing arts professionals. The curatorial vision of Global Connect is to broaden access to IETM's network for artists and producers who may otherwise lack the means to participate, thereby fostering a more inclusive and diverse performing arts community. The programme underscores IETM's commitment to international exchange and professional development, prioritizing those who can articulate a compelling case for how membership will advance their practice and contribute to the network.
