Snarky Elephant Incubator Program

Overview
Snarky Elephant Productions, an organization committed to diversifying the entertainment industry, has opened applications for its Incubator Program. This initiative is designed to support creative practitioners working across film, documentary, dance, and theater by providing a suite of resources aimed at advancing their projects and careers. The program is open to applicants based in the US and globally, reflecting a broad and inclusive scope. The Incubator Program offers a comprehensive support structure. Selected creators receive grant writing assistance with no upfront cost, connections to private funders where possible, and a dedicated Creator page on the Snarky Elephant website that can be regularly updated with a photo, bio, and portfolio. Additionally, the program includes social media and newsletter promotion, a dedicated marketing budget with potential direct-to-consumer advertisements valued at $5,000, and access to Snarky Elephant staff during office hours for feedback and creative workshopping. Artists also benefit from artistic and career guidance, including coaching for management and booking, as well as networking opportunities with the advisory board—comprising established network executives, directors, producers, writers, and creatives—and a community of current and former SEP creators. The curatorial vision behind the Incubator Program is to foster a diverse cohort of voices and to provide both the infrastructure and the industry access necessary to bring underrepresented stories to the fore. By combining financial, promotional, and mentorship support, Snarky Elephant aims to empower creators to navigate the complexities of the entertainment landscape and to build sustainable careers.
