The Story Pros Screenplay Contest is a US-based competition that offers screenwriters an opportunity to receive professional screenplay analysis and development notes. The contest is organized by Professional Screenplay Analysis, an entity that leverages the expertise of award-winning screenwriters and working Hollywood readers to provide feedback on submitted screenplays. While specific details regarding deadlines, fees, and prizes are not currently available, the contest's emphasis on professional analysis suggests a focus on constructive critique and development rather than solely on monetary awards. This aligns with a curatorial vision that values craft, storytelling, and the refinement of screenwriting skills. Screenwriters who participate can expect to receive detailed notes that may help them improve their scripts, potentially increasing their chances of success in the industry. The involvement of working Hollywood readers indicates a direct connection to current industry standards and practices.
