Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery has issued an open call for its 16th Annual "Open" (No Theme) Online Art Competition. The gallery seeks 2D and 3D artists from around the world to submit work for consideration in a juried selection, with accepted entries to be featured in the gallery's December 2026 online group exhibition. The competition is deliberately unthematic: any subject matter and any media are acceptable, and artists may submit representational and/or abstract work. The gallery provides a reference point for prospective applicants by linking to its "Open" (No Theme) 2024 Online Art Exhibition, allowing artists to review the type of work previously accepted. It also publishes an article outlining the judging criteria for its juried competitions, which applicants are encouraged to consult as a guide. These resources signal a transparent, criteria-driven selection process rather than an opaque one. Entry is free during the initial period: lower entry fees are offered from the opening of the competition until October 1, 2026, after which standard fees apply. The final deadline for submissions is November 27, 2026. The exhibition itself is presented online, consistent with the gallery's digital format.
