Poetry — Manuscript (full length book) Submissions to Pine Row Press
Overview
Pine Row Press operates a literary journal and, separately, a press for full-length books. The press states an interest in poetry with a voice, and its list includes both first-time poets and established, award-winning writers. This is not a contest; it is an open review of all submitted work, with a reading fee, and the press makes publication decisions strictly on the quality of the work and its own editorial judgment. There is no minimum or maximum number of manuscripts that will be offered publication. Manuscripts should consist of at least 50 pages and not more than 120 pages, including a table of contents and a brief poet bio. Simultaneous submissions are permitted, provided the press is notified if the work is accepted elsewhere. The poet retains full copyright. Pine Row is not a vanity press: selected poets pay nothing to publish and receive a modest advance and author copies. The press does not describe a fixed thematic program beyond its stated interest in voice and excellence. The reading fee is $25, and the deadline is November 2, 2026. Because the number of offers is open-ended, the press is not obligated to fill a quota; the decision rests on the manuscript itself.
