Kinsman Avenue Publishing, Inc. presents the TeenQuill Writing Contest, an ongoing initiative dedicated to amplifying adolescent voices. The contest seeks original, unpublished works in English across short stories, nonfiction essays, plays, and poetry. Submissions are accepted year-round, with no entry fee, reflecting the organization's commitment to accessibility and emerging talent. Selected entries will be considered for a $50 Amazon E-Gift Card and publication within Kinsman Quarterly's online and printed publications, social media platforms, and annual anthology. This multi-platform exposure offers young writers a significant opportunity to reach diverse audiences. Copyrights remain with the authors, while Kinsman Avenue Publishing reserves collection copyrights for the anthology. The contest specifically encourages submissions from BIPOC and writers of color, aligning with Kinsman Avenue Publishing's mission to foster inclusive literary communities. Winning contestants and finalists are asked to refrain from republishing their work for one year following the announcement, ensuring the organization's exclusive publication rights. Contestants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
