Atmosphere Press accepts full-length manuscripts directly from authors, with no submission fee. Writers should review the press's genre preferences and submission guidelines carefully before sending their work. The press values originality, strong voice, and polished prose. Simultaneous submissions are generally accepted, but authors should notify the press promptly if their manuscript is accepted elsewhere. Given the press's commitment to author support, applicants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with Atmosphere's catalog to ensure their work aligns with the press's aesthetic and mission.
