About the organization
Bromfield Gallery, founded in 1975 by a collective of artists, is one of Boston's longest-running artist-run galleries. Located in the SoWa Art + Design District, it has maintained a steadfast commitment to contemporary art and community engagement. The gallery's mission is to provide a professional exhibition space for emerging and mid-career artists, fostering experimentation and dialogue. Over the decades, it has served as a launchpad for numerous artists, offering them their first solo shows and critical exposure.
