Applicants should demonstrate a clear alignment with the museum's mission to explore design's role in contemporary society. Proposals for residencies or exhibitions should articulate a distinct research question or design inquiry, with a feasible plan for public engagement. The museum values projects that are critically reflective, interdisciplinary, and capable of reaching diverse audiences. It is advisable to review past projects and publications to understand the institution's curatorial tone, which balances innovation with accessibility. For residency calls, highlight how your practice engages with urgent social, environmental, or technological issues.
