Light Up The North

Light Up The North is a consortium of light art festivals across the North of England, founded to foster collaboration and touring opportunities for artists working with light. Its ethos is rooted in making ambitious, temporary light-based works accessible to diverse publics, often in outdoor and unconventional urban contexts. The ILLUMINE open call exemplifies its commitment to commissioning new work that can travel across partner festivals, including Light Night Leeds, Lightpool Blackpool, Light Up Lancaster, BD is Lit Bradford, Light Night Wigan, and Lightwaves Salford.
