About the organization
The Liu Shiming Art Foundation was established to honor the legacy of Liu Shiming (1926–2010), a pioneering Chinese sculptor whose work bridged traditional Chinese aesthetics and modern sculptural forms. Founded with a mission to support emerging artists and educators, the foundation promotes cross-cultural dialogue and artistic excellence through grants, awards, and exhibitions. Its programs reflect Liu Shiming's belief in the transformative power of art and education, fostering a community that values both innovation and heritage.
