Applicants should demonstrate a clear alignment with NEIU's mission of access and community. Proposals that articulate how the residency would advance a socially engaged or materially exploratory practice are favored. Include a concise artist statement, 10–15 images of recent work, and a project description that outlines intended use of studio time. Deadlines are typically announced on the Art + Design department webpage; early inquiry is advised.
