Applications are typically accepted annually for fellowships lasting 12 to 18 months. Candidates should present a well-defined project that benefits from the Roman context and demonstrates a mature, innovative practice. While the selection is highly competitive, the jury values originality, feasibility, and the potential for the residency to catalyze new directions. It is advisable to align proposals with the Academy's interdisciplinary spirit and to articulate how the unique setting will inform the work.
