Abby Mulcahy

Abby Mulcahy, PhD, MPH, is a public health researcher and health services researcher in the Portland area. Her work covers Veterans with disabilities and LGBTQ+ Veterans' access to and experiences of care. She trained in political science, public health policy, and health services research. She completed a VA Health Systems Research fellowship and the AcademyHealth Delivery System Science Fellowship at the VA Portland Health Care System from 2021 to 2024. She is listed as an Investigator at the Center to Improve Veteran Involvement in Care (CIVIC) and as an Assistant Professor of Public Health at Pacific University. Her research focuses on gender, disability, aging, and where identities overlap in access to care.
