Adam Patterson

Adam Patterson is a Barbadian visual artist and writer. Alice Yard describes him as based in Barbados, Rotterdam, and London. He completed a BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins in 2017. His work deals with how stories, images, and ways of looking shape selfhood, often retelling or reworking existing stories. In January 2019 he was a resident at Alice Yard in Trinidad, where he performed 'Sailors' with writer Andre Bagoo. He also devised the 'Green Screen Charivari' workshop, listed by the Live Art Development Agency for July 2019 in Leeds, which uses masks, costume, and green-screen keying.
