Adiba Nelson

Adiba Nelson is an author, screenwriter, performer, and disability rights advocate. She is known for her memoir Ain't That A Mother, published by Blackstone in 2022. She has also self-published the children's picture book Meet ClaraBelle Blue. She has been featured in Raising Mothers' Mama's Writing interview series, where she discussed writing openly about motherhood and family. Her essays on race, parenting, disability, and womanhood have appeared in a range of national outlets.
