Alan Poma

Alan Poma is a multidisciplinary sound artist from Peru who makes site-specific performances and multimedia installations. His practice combines performance, video, sound art, and scientific research. He is part of The Luminary's 2024 residency cohort, which was focused on St. Louis. His work studies links between Russian Futurism and Andean culture, which he calls 'Andean Futurism', including a 2011 version of the opera Victory over the Sun (1913).
