Alberto Pina

Alberto Pina is a visual artist who lives and works in Spain, originally from Greece, according to KulttuuriKauppila. He trained in engraving at the Complutense University of Madrid and also uses etching and charcoal-watercolour. His realistic, sometimes melancholic portraits, still-lifes and landscapes focus on nature. During a two-month residency at KulttuuriKauppila in Ii, Finland, in late 2018, he researched the relationship between the modern city and nature and showed forest-themed charcoal-watercolour works in the exhibition 'A Place in the Forest'.
