Alberto Valverde

Alberto Valverde is a Spanish artist and technologist who works in a duo called uh513 with María Castellanos, a collaboration that began in 2009. The duo's research focuses on links between cyborgs, wearable technology, and communication between humans and plants. In 2020 they were selected for a two-month EMAP residency hosted by KONTEJNER in Zagreb, which was carried out remotely from Spain. Their work 'Beyond Human Perception' (2020) compares human brain signals and plant electrical activity during live music.
