Aldo Amparán

Aldo Amparán is a poet who grew up in the border cities of El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. Their first book, Brother Sleep, was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award for Gay Poetry. They have received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and CantoMundo. Their second collection, The House Has Teeth, is scheduled from Alice James Books in September 2026.
