ALEJANDRO MACIAS

Alejandro Macias is a visual artist raised in Brownsville, Texas, whose paintings, drawings, and multimedia work examine identity, migration, and life along the US/Mexico border. He was CALA Alliance's 2023 regional artist-in-residence in Phoenix, where he developed the solo show Land of Wolves, shown at LatchKey Gallery in New York in early 2024. He is an Associate Professor of Painting and Drawing at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
