ALESSANDRA DUARTE

Alessandra Duarte is a visual and sound artist. Her practice, as described on the Mirante Xiquexique residents page, explores permanence and transience through painting, soundscapes, video and site-specific installations. She often works with colour in relation to landscape. She took part as a resident in the Somsocosmos 2 sound residency at Residência São João in October and November 2018. She also contributed a track to the Disco Postal album, a remote composition game the residency organised.
