Alessandra Gatto

Alessandra Gatto is an Italian photographer and artist based in Milan. In spring 2026 she was in residence at Viafarini in Milan, where she showed her project "Membrana". Her practice examines the material, chemical and political nature of photography, using analogue, organic and perishable techniques. Her work often relates to plant life and ecological concerns. In June 2026 she led an artist talk on her Meeting Gardens workshop experience as part of Milano Green Week.
