Alice Wang

Alice Wang is a Chinese-born American artist based in New York who makes sculptures and experimental films. Her work draws on materials such as fossils, meteorites, plants, and heat, and it blends geometric abstraction with a phenomenological approach. She has shown at the UCCA Dune Art Museum, Vincent Price Art Museum, and Capsule Shanghai, among others, and has been an artist-in-residence at ISCP and Pioneer Works. Her 2022 SÍM Residency participation was an open-studio event in Reykjavík.
