Alicia Mersy

Alicia Mersy is an artist and filmmaker of Lebanese/French origin, born in Montreal in 1988, who lives and works in New York. Her practice spans video, photography, installation, and workshops that address social politics, technology, and resistance to repressive structures. She has exhibited at the Migros Museum in Zurich, the ICA London, Abrons Arts Center, and the Tel Aviv Museum. She was a Technology Resident at Pioneer Works in 2019 and later appeared there as an alumni resident.
