Alioune Thiam

Alioune Thiam is a Senegalese video artist based in Dakar whose work combines art, technology, and African oral traditions. He makes immersive, interactive installations using projection mapping, animation, and sound. His practice looks at memory, identity, and the effects of digital technology on Senegalese and African cultures. He was an artist in residence at La Becque in October to December 2025.
