Alma L. Leiva

Alma L. Leiva is an artist whose research-based work spans installation, video, animation, and photography. She addresses migration, displacement, loss, and the impact of violence on Central American individuals and societies. Her site-specific works often draw on a space's history to reveal human rights issues. She was a resident at Elsewhere Museum in 2019, where she made Guess Who's Coming To Dinner (The Last Supper).
