Amanda Elam

Amanda Elam is an artist and photographer based in Providence, Rhode Island. Her hybrid practice combines photography, painting, and sculpture to explore mental health and wellbeing. She makes abstract portraits that aim to show the emotional complexity of the mind. She was an artist in residence at The Steel Yard's small metals program in 2018.
