AMANDA HAMILTON

Amanda Hamilton is a visual artist who works in painting and collage and has also made video work. She lives in Minneapolis and maintains a studio in the NE Arts District. Her recent work explores human time versus deep time through geology, deep space, and the contemporary landscape. She was an artist-in-residence at Prairieside Outpost in Matfield Green, Kansas, in August 2022, where she painted landscapes and hiked the Flint Hills. Her work also appears in the 2024-era Prairieside ten-year group show in Kansas City.
