Amanda Western

Amanda Western is a printmaker who works with contemporary and traditional methods, mainly linocut, to explore how people relate to the natural environment. She was a resident at All That We Are in Tasmania from late December 2025 to early January 2026. She previously worked in Emergency Recovery, which shaped her view of art as a tool for healing. Her recent honours include the 2025 Queenscliff Art Prize Print Award and the 2024 People's Choice Award at the Sunshine Coast National Art Prize.
