Amy Hassinger

Amy Hassinger is a writer whose essays, stories, and poems have appeared in many literary magazines. Her personal site lists three novels and a forthcoming essay collection, Apocalypse in Blue, due May 2027. Her work has appeared in Plainsongs, where she has been a contributor. Her Plainsongs contribution is the story 'Asterisk: A Love Story,' published in the Summer 2018 issue. It was first read aloud on Louise Wareham Leonard's '52 Men' podcast. In 2017 she read from recent Plainsongs work at a Hastings, Nebraska event.
