Amy Monaghan

Amy Monaghan is a writer and visual artist based in Los Angeles, according to a Grand Canyon Conservancy event page. She works in fiction, memoir-like personal writing, and collage, and explores memory, identity, and reconciling the present with the past. She was Artist in Residence at Grand Canyon National Park in 2024, researching historic photographers Ellsworth and Emery Kolb. Her fiction novel 'A Living Thing with Teeth' focuses on Ellsworth Kolb.
