Ana Karkar

Ana Karkar is a painter born in San Francisco who lives and works in Paris. Her figurative and landscape-leaning paintings draw on film, cinema, and art history, including the Vienna Secession, Egon Schiele and Edvard Munch. She trained in San Francisco, Paris and London, including the TURPS Correspondence program. She spent two weeks in residency at Atelier Austmarka in November 2014.
