Anastasia Carpio

Anastasia Carpio is a visual artist based in Lisbon who works with textiles, elastic bands, and found objects to explore tension, memory, and transformation. She trained in graphic design and typography at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and taught typography for over twelve years. She was a resident at Duplex AIR in Lisbon in 2022, and her site lists exhibitions in Caracas, Lisbon, Guimarães, and Dubai.
