André Chapatte

André Chapatte is a Swiss-American artist and performer who began as a cartoonist. His work has moved toward performance, combining writing, speaking, singing and dancing with corporal and audio-visual techniques. He was an artist-in-residence at Titanik A.i.R. in December 2019, where he presented the dance-performance WWTTWWTTC about contemporary camera technology. He teaches performance at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and lives in Brussels.
