Andreas Schröder

Andreas Schröder is a Leipzig-based sound and installation artist, born in 1983 in Karaganda, Kazakhstan. He works with mechanical and technical methods and with natural forces such as air pressure and wind. He was a fellow (Stipendiat) at the Schlossmediale in Werdenberg, Switzerland, in 2023, where he showed works including the installation 'GRAMMA' and a flying-books piece in the castle. The Missa listing gives 2025 for the residency, but the pages found date his participation to 2023. In 2024 he worked with the artist Christiane Gerda Schmidt on the installation 'in situ' at the Museümli in Buchs, Switzerland.
