Andrew Gifford

Andrew Gifford is a Bethesda, Maryland-based writer whose memoir We All Scream: The Fall of the Gifford's Ice Cream Empire was published by Stillhouse Press in May 2017. The book covers his family's D.C.-area ice cream business, which closed in 1985, and his experience as a child of abuse. He works in the books department of the American Psychological Association. Stillhouse Press promoted him as an author and a 'Friend of Stillhouse,' and he was listed as a speaker at the 2017 Washington-area writers conference and a reader at Artomatic in Arlington.
