Anna Guasco

Anna Guasco is an interdisciplinary researcher whose work spans blue humanities, critical ocean studies, political ecology, and environmental history. She is an assistant professor of marine studies at Oregon State University. She holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Cambridge. Her first book, a study of gray whales on the North American Pacific coast, is forthcoming from the University of Chicago Press in 2027.
