Anna Shustikova

Anna Shustikova is an artist born in 1992 in Samara, Russia, who trained in physics before moving into documentary-based art. Her sculptures and installations, often made from fragile materials like glass, soap, and salts, draw on Soviet history, the history of science, and personal and family memory. She lives and works in Paris and was an AIR InSILo resident in Hollabrunn during the 2024–2025 winter slot, where she worked with the archives of American writer Sonja Franeta on queer women's experiences in post-Soviet Russia.
