ANNE KRANENBORG

Anne Kranenborg is a sculptor and material researcher whose practice centres on asphalt, aluminium, foam, plaster and soil. Her work often explores form, gravity and the idea of stone. She has worked in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Sweden and Portugal. She was an Artists-in-Residence at PADA in Barreiro, Portugal, in 2023, and returned for a two-month residency in 2024 that resulted in the work 'Where do shapes begin'. Her PADA work appeared in the 2024 Residency 44 exhibition.
