Annika Earley

Annika Earley (she/they) is a Maine-based artist who makes intimate works on paper, often centered on her alter-ego and personal demon Batshit. Her work addresses parenthood, sensuality, gender and pre-teen nostalgia, drawing on German folk tales and Spice Girls lyrics. Born in 1990 in Switzerland, she moved to mid-coast Maine in 2000 and lives in Belfast, Maine. She holds an MFA from Maine College of Art and an M.Phil from College of the Atlantic.
