Arina Frölich

Arina Frölich is an artist based in Basel whose practice uses artistic research to examine how knowledge is produced and how social norms are formed. Improvisation with theatre, movement and voice is central to the work, which develops embodied material into performative scenes or choreographic structures. Frölich is interested in friendship as a strategy of empowerment during periods of sociopolitical crisis. In October 2026 Frölich joined Fundaziun Nairs in Scuol as a resident, working with Kymbali Williams and Martha Mutapay on a shared body-based research project into friendship.
