Asif Mian

Asif Mian is a New York City-based artist working across sculpture, performance and filmmaking. His work examines how masculinity, competition, ritual and violence shape contemporary culture. He took part in the 2017 Seminar: Denniston Hill workshop-residency led by Clifford Owens, where he performed Merchant. The Denniston Hill event page describes him as a Columbia University MFA candidate (2018).
