Austeja Platukyte

Austėja Platukyte is a Lithuanian material-design researcher who works across design, science and craft. She teaches biomaterials design at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, where she is also a PhD candidate. She founded SEAWEED FOAM and the NGO Medžiagotyra, and leads the Biomaterials Library. Her residency at TUO TUO, Joutsa, Finland, was in 2021 and is listed on the residency's alumni page.
